Our home port is in Romanshorn on Lake Constance in Switzerland. We started with a Sea Ray 290 Sundancer and later moved on to a Condor 1190 from the Gordon Werf in Heusden, Netherlands. During the boat show in Düsseldorf in 2016, we looked at three different brands, but soon after, we chose Boarncruiser.
The reason we chose the Boarncruiser Elegance was the combination of the long top with Canopy Easy, the large swimming platform, the excellent craftsmanship, and the functionality of the boat. These factors were decisive for us.
We are now sailing our second Boarncruiser (Chinoock II). We ordered our first boat directly at the Düsseldorf boat show and customized it there. For our second Boarncruiser Elegance, we were able to have it built even more to our specifications based on our previous experiences with Boarnstream. Although we do not live close to the yard, we maintain excellent contact. Marcel and Wies take good care of us, and together with the yard in Salmsach, maintenance is well taken care of.
We always experience the collaboration with Boarnstream as professional and straightforward. If we were to build another boat in the future, we would certainly do it with Boarnstream.
