Customers Sergio and Sindy
Everything started in 2014 at the Düsseldorf Boat Show. We were looking for a replacement for our GALEON 325 HT. After missing the opportunity to purchase a Greenline 40—at that time, Greenline was in financial trouble—we were referred to Boarnstream.
Boarnstream was developing a new concept, the ELEGANCE model, which met all our requirements. After visiting, we were immediately convinced, and our first Boarncruiser 1200 Elegance was ordered and put into production.
We felt at home on the boat right away and experienced many wonderful moments on board.
Two years after delivery, we saw the Boarncruiser 1280 Elegance at the shipyard and immediately felt that its dimensions would suit our needs even better.
In 2021, we put the 1200 up for sale and did not hesitate for a second to have a new ELEGANCE 1280 built.
The Difference Between Belgium and the North of the Netherlands
The difference between Belgium and the North of the Netherlands is that in the Netherlands, you know exactly where you stand from the start—everything is more direct and straightforward. There is a cultural difference, but certainly not a negative one.
This was also a decisive factor for us because the working relationship and the new approach to tracking our boat’s progress by the employees and sales staff were very clear and structured.
We still feel good about the fact that we have built a kind of friendship with certain people from the shipyard and that we are part of the Boarnstream boating community.
Sailing Area
We sail around 200 hours per season. Our boat is docked in Brabant, which is our main cruising area in our free time.
During our vacations, we aim to explore as much of the Netherlands as possible.
