Customers Andre and Priska Lauper
Twenty years ago, André and Priska Lauper bought their Boarncruiser 35 Classic Line with build number 22. ‘In 2000 we visited many yards,’ Priska explains. ‘Boarnstream was the last yard. We had not had a positive experience at all yards, but in Jirnsum we were warmly welcomed. It felt like coming home.’ ‘The lines and look of the Classic Line appealed to us,’ André continues. ‘Such a sturdy ship, we could see ourselves sailing in that. And the friendliness from the beginning has always remained. If there is a problem, it is solved. We really feel part of the Boarnstream family.’
André and Priska live in Switzerland and had their Classic transported to France in 2002. ‘Twelve years we sailed in France,’ André continues. ‘There the boat was closer to home. In 2015 we retired and since that year the boat has been in Friesland. We mainly sail in Friesland, a beautiful water area with nice places to visit. After all these years, we certainly are still not bored in Friesland.’ ‘Our mooring is close to the shipyard,’ Priska continues. ‘That is convenient when there is a problem because that can then be quickly solved. We also know almost everyone at the shipyard after all these years. That makes contact very easy and it strengthens the family feeling. Boarnstream employs down to earth professionals, people who have both feet on the ground. That suits us. Every time we go to the boat again, we realize how clever it is what Boarnstream has realized here.’
André: ‘After twenty years, we still love the boat. The interior is beautifully trimmed with wood, the atmosphere on board is therefore cozy, the boat is very solid and feels safe and the multi-chine hull makes the look classic. This boat remains classic and never gets old-fashioned.’ Priska adds: ‘We still love the boat, the yard and the people. That may also be reflected in the name of the ship: J’adore
