These celebrations allowed us to pause and appreciate the rich history that has shaped us, while reaffirming our commitment to innovation and quality. It was a pleasure to revisit the milestones that made us who we are today and to share our vision for the future with our clients, partners, and the wider yachting community.

Boekpresentation “60 Years Boarnstream Yachting” with Suppliers

On June 20th, we organized the official presentation of our anniversary book, “60 Years Boarnstream Yachting.” During this ceremony, the first copy of the book was handed to Henk Hokwerda, the founder of our company, by Wies Hokwerda, the current owner. This event marked six decades of dedication and craftsmanship in yacht building and served as a tribute to our rich history.

Culinair Captains Dinner with 60 Boarnstream Ambassadors

On June 27, 2024, we welcomed a select group of 60 international Boarnstream ambassadors for an exquisite Culinary Captains Dinner. This special evening was dedicated not only to our past but also to our future. Our guests enjoyed a refined 5-course dinner, prepared by chef Rolf Hoekstra and his team, served in the workshop among the yachts under construction. Singer Maud and pianist Sytse provided the musical accompaniment, making the evening an unforgettable experience.

Hiswa te Water reception “60 Years Boarnstream Yachting”

On August 30th, we continued celebrating our anniversary during Hiswa te Water 2024 with a reception at our stand. This occasion brought together our valued customers and partners to celebrate our 60th anniversary. Prior to the reception, we held a brief book presentation by Henk Hokwerda and Klaas Smit, where the highlights of our anniversary book were shared.

Soccer clinic for KiKa with Boarnstream Yachting team

As part of celebrating Boarnstream Yachting’s 60th anniversary, our team participated in a special soccer clinic hosted by the ladies of SC Heerenveen. This event supported KiKa (Children Cancer-Free), an organization committed to funding research to improve childhood cancer treatments and survival rates.
