This beautiful convertible hybrid is built for an experienced owner with an eye for sustainable boating. The large Lithium battery pack allows for approximately 7 hours(!) of fully electric cruising. Immerse yourself quietly in nature, without the sound of a diesel engine in the background. Just enjoying the rippling water, the sun and the outdoors in the great outdoors! Delivered and launched in August 2022 we are talking about a barely used ship here. Equipped with many luxury and comfortable options/details on board, so that one can wonderfully spend several days on board. The owner has decided to have a larger model built, so this unique opportunity to get such a young ship comes along!

The Boarncruiser 37 Lounge Hybrid is similar in every way to the diesel powered Boarncruiser Lounge with the major exception of the hybrid system. The electric drive consists of a 10 kW electric motor that is continuously connected to the propeller shaft. Depending on the speed, a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 8 hours of fully electric cruising is possible. The maximum speed with fully electric sailing is no less than 5.3 knots. For sailing through a city or a quiet nature reserve, a speed of 2 to 4 knots is often more than sufficient.

The battery pack on board is as much as 33 kW. When sailing on diesel, the electric motor acts as a 10 kW generator and the battery is charged from empty to fully charged in about 10 hours. This battery pack also provides the electrical needs for all facilities on board, via 2 pieces 3.5 kW combi inverter/chargers all 220 V consumers are powered. If desired, you can lie free in nature for several days without the noise of a generator.

How long can I lie free? That depends on whether you sailed electrically or by diesel to your berth. Suppose you have arrived on the diesel engine and your battery is fully charged. Cooking a meal on the 4-burner stove costs about 1.5 to 2 kW, plus the consumption of the water heater, refrigerator and, of course, the lights. Per day you could count about 6 kW for that. In short, you can have 3 days and 4 nights off before you have to sail again. But with a bit of three to four hours of "diesel" the battery is full again. This Boarncruiser 37 Lounge Hybrid is equipped with a shore connection (16 Ah) (front and rear of the boat) that needs at least 12 hours via the isolation transformer to fully charge an "empty" battery.

The Boarncruiser 37 Lounge picked up nominations for the "Dutch Powerboat of the year 2021" award and the "European Powerboat of the year 2021" award with its refreshingly contemporary design.
