The Marex 330 is fully lockable thanks to a large aluminum sliding door and a manually operated polyester sliding roof. This creates a vessel that is enormously practical to use. When the weather is nice, the roof and the roof pane can be opened and when the weather is bad, everything can be closed again in no time. This also makes the boat very suitable for sailing at sea with more wave action.
Innovations:
As befits Marex, the 330 is also equipped with all kinds of well thought-out solutions. For example, the steering position has a convenient side door, which makes docking alone very easy and gives you plenty of contact with the outside air. The spacious cockpit with large u-seat can be used multifunctionally. This space can be completely opened up thanks to a sliding roof, which when open disappears completely into the roof structure. It is just as easy to store the entire cockpit tent. When open, it disappears completely into the port and starboard superstructure by means of an ingenious rail system. So no hassle with loose tent parts and zippers. The system works simply and quickly. When closed, the cockpit is involved in the saloon making it extra spacious.
Practical layout:
In addition to the practical solutions, the layout is also well thought out. The entire living area is on one level, from bathing platform, cockpit, saloon galley and steering position. Via only 2 steps one reaches the cabins and wet room. Both the owner's cabin in the front and the guest cabin amidships have a very generous double bed. The wet cell has a separate shower and toilet area From every room there is contact with the outside thanks to the windows in the hull and several portholes provide sufficient ventilation. The view from the steering position, thanks to the large windows all around, is great. The same goes for the saloon settee and galley, by the way. Did we mention that the steering position also has a side door? By means of a folding backrest of the dinette, a very comfortable navigation/companion bench for 2 persons is created on the port side.
