New Marex 375 to be delivered for sailing season 2020. In addition to all her options, this boat is also equipped with a special wrap and windowblind to turn this Marex 375 into the Marex 375 - Revolution Edition!
The Marex 375 is fully lockable thanks to a large aluminium sliding door and a manually operated polyester sliding roof. This creates a boat that is extremely practical to use. When the weather is nice, the roof and front can be opened, when the weather is less everything can be closed again in no time. This also makes the boat very suitable for sailing at sea with more waves.
As befits the Marex, the 375 is also equipped with all kinds of well thought-out solutions. For example, 4 fenders can be stored in hatches that are part of the gangway. In addition, the cockpit with large u-seat can be used multifunctionally. This space can be opened completely thanks to a sliding roof, which when open disappears completely into the roof construction. The entire cockpit tent is at least as easy to store. When opened, it disappears completely into the port and starboard superstructures by means of an ingenious rail system. So no hassle with loose tent parts and zippers. The system works simply and quickly. When closed, the cockpit is involved in the saloon, making it extra spacious.
Practical layout
In addition to the practical solutions, the layout has also been well thought out. The entire living area is on one level: swimming platform, cockpit, saloon galley and steering position. Only 3 steps lead to the cabins and wet room. Both the owner's cabin in the front and the guest cabin in the centre have a very generous double bed. The wet room has a separate shower and toilet. Thanks to the windows in the hull there is contact with the outside and several portholes provide sufficient ventilation. The view from the steering position is, thanks to the large windows all around, great. This also applies to the saloon settee and galley. The backrest of the saloon settee can be folded up, with the seat also going up with it. This creates a very comfortable navigation bench for 2 persons.
