In 1964 richtte Henk Hokwerda, Jachtwerf de Boarnstream op. Schepen bouwen, dat is wat hij wou!
Tijdens de uitreiking van de Hiswa Excellence Award in 2010 zei hij : “ik wil herinnerd worden als iemand die een mooi bedrijf heeft achtergelaten dat tijdloze en hoogwaardige producten bouwt”. Inmiddels heeft zijn dochter Wies Hokwerda het roer al meer dan een decennia in handen en is de wens van Henk uitgekomen, er staat een mooi internationaal bedrijf, welke inmiddels ruim 1200 schepen heeft mogen afleveren, een werf waar klanten graag komen en mensen graag werken. “Ik ben dan ook zeer dankbaar dat wij komend jaar, dit 60 jarig jubileum mogen en kunnen vieren met al deze mensen. En dat mijn vader dit nog mag meemaken.” zegt Wies Hokwerda.

Ter gelegenheid van 60 Jaar Boarnstream wordt er in het jaar 2024 op verschillende momenten stil gestaan bij deze mijlpaal.
Naast een boek over de geschiedenis van Boarnstream, komt er ook een speciale Boarncruiser Elegance Aft Cabin edition.

Realisatie nieuw kantoor

Na de realisatie van de nieuwe productie -en refit hallen (2500 m2) in 2019, is 15 januari 2024 de eerste paal gezet voor de bouw van een nieuw kantoor. Dit kantoorpand wordt geïntegreerd in het huidige Skipshus gebouw welke ontwikkeld is voor schepen t/m 82 ft. De wens is om niet alleen meer werkkantoren en een grotere kantine te maken. Maar ook een ruimte te creëren voor het verwelkomen van klanten, het tentoonstellen van de schepen, en een materialen showroom waar het maatwerk verder kan worden uitgezocht door de eigenaren.

Realisatie van het project zal in het 3e kwartaal van 2024 zijn.

Boarncruiser OCEAN – Sport

The Boarncruiser Ocean – Sport is fully customizable and has all the benefits that the Boarncruiser Yachts stand for. She offers the one level living concept and therefore ensures that the movement on the deck is safe and effortless. All the Ocean models have a spacious Center Sleeper at lower deck. The Ocean is a high-end custom yachts and proofs once again that Boarncruiser yachts belong in the upper class of luxury yachts.
